Role Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and solution-driven Engineering Manager, to join a dedicated product team. You will collaborate with peers across product, design, infrastructure, and engineering teams, leading the continued development of a multi-component platform. Your expertise in designing and building scalable systems will align with your leadership skills in fostering a high-performance culture and supporting the growth of your team members.

Responsibilities:

 - Lead the engineering team in developing features and improving the data and analytics platform using technologies like Typescript, Python, and AWS.

 - Analyze complex data to drive actionable insights and cross-team recommendations.

 - Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, iterative product delivery.

 - Shape the product and technology roadmap with peers and cross-functional teams.

 - Champion quality, security, and performance improvements.

 - Provide technical leadership for solving complex problems and ensure best coding practices.

 - Own delivery of complex features with minimal guidance and collaborate on larger projects.

 - Mentor and coach engineers to foster professional growth.

Qualifications:

 - Strong experience in data infrastructure development (data mining, OLAP, ETL, data modelling).

 - Expertise in high-volume data processing, performance optimization, and scaling data infrastructure architecture.

 - Proven leadership in fast-paced startups, fostering team autonomy and innovation.

 - Hands-on with Python, Node.js and AWS tools (Glue, Athena, QuickSight, Redshift); bonus for C#, C++, Golang or Rust.

 - Skilled in cloud computing (AWS serverless), design patterns, and deploying data ETLs.

 - Strong technical documentation, privacy by design, security, and leadership skills.
