Senior Software Engineer - Berlin - €100k

Our client is the largest food delivery and logistics platform in the world, delivering groceries and takeaways to people's doors within an hour, and in a completely carbon-neutral way. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong senior experience with Java and/or Kotlin to join their growing team. They get around 1,700 orders every single second and their influence spans 4 continents. As a unicorn in the German tech space, working with a latency of around 50 milliseconds, it doesn’t get much bigger or better than this.

Your Role: Senior Software Engineer 

You will be developing services and algorithms that will calculate optimal prices for delivering goods to millions of customers every day when they load their page and place an order. 

You will be building API integrations with financial institutions and developing the payments systems which deal with huge amounts of traffic.

Requirements - Senior Software Engineer 

Strong senior experience with Java and/or Kotlin. 

Experience with DevOps, inc. Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform. 

Working experience with AWS.

Any experience with distributed data stores like Kafka. 

Someone with the potential to be a future leader.
