VP of Engineering - Berlin - €150,000

Location: Berlin 

Salary: €150k

Our client, a financially self-sufficient fintech company, is on the hunt for a VP of Engineering to join its fast-growing team of 45 engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our engineering strategy and leading our engineering team. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of our technology stack, including Java, Javascript, Python, and GO. Additionally, you will be a thought leader and mentor to the engineering team and work to ensure that our technology is meeting the needs of our customers.

Your Role - VP of Engineering 

Develop and maintain engineering strategies, processes and best practices

Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of our technology stack

Lead and mentor our engineering team, providing guidance and technical expertise

Work to ensure our technology is meeting the needs of our customers

Develop and maintain relationships with partners, vendors and other stakeholders

Manage budgets and resources for engineering projects

Monitor performance and maintain high standards of quality

Requirements - VP of Engineering 

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

You have experience scaling teams 10 + people.

You have experience managing teams of 30+ people.

You have experience within a SaaS company.

You have been coding backend and frontend systems
