Job Title: Chief Technology Officer - Berlin - EUR 200k-250k

With a presence in multiple European markets and ambitious expansion plans, the company is on a mission to revolutionize the energy sector.

Role Description:

As the CTO, you will be a key player in shaping the technical strategy and vision of the company, working closely with the founders. You will lead the technology department, continuously enhance the platform, and drive innovation to maintain the company’s competitive edge.

Responsibilities:

 - Collaborate with the founders to align the technology roadmap with the company’s long-term vision.

 - Lead the continuous development and rollout of new features, driving the company’s platform forward.

 - Define and execute strategies for adopting new technologies to meet business and product goals.

 - Build, lead, and scale a high-performing SaaS technology team.

 - Manage the technical budget and ensure optimal resource utilization.

 - Foster transparent communication with stakeholders across the company to support collaboration.

 - Implement agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to ensure efficient and flexible product development.

Qualifications:

 - A hands-on leader with strong decision-making abilities, resilience, and a results-driven mindset.

 - Experience in scaling technology and teams within a fast-growing startup environment.

 - Solid technical background in software development with knowledge of common frontend and/or backend frameworks.

 - Experience in sectors like renewable energy, technology, or fast-paced industries such as VC, banking, or consulting is a plus.

 - Proven track record of going above and beyond to achieve personal and professional goals.

 - Passionate about creating a positive impact on climate change, and comfortable navigating the dynamics of a growing startup.

 - Fluent in both English and German.

 - Willingness to work from the Berlin office.
