Director of Engineering (m/f/d) - Copenhagen
We’re partnering with a high-growth AI company building computer-vision systems that transform how physical performance is captured and understood at scale. Their technology processes complex real-world environments in real time, turning raw visual data into actionable insight used by 35,000+ organisations across 80+ countries every week. By removing manual overhead and unlocking data that was previously inaccessible, the platform helps make smarter decisions and bring advanced analytics to environments that historically lacked it.
Role Overview:
You’ll join as a Director of Engineering, shaping the platforms powering customer acquisition, subscription flows, and internal revenue systems as this computer vision tech scale-up expands globally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define technical direction and organisational strategy for systems that drive monetisation, payments, subscriptions and operations.
* Lead, mentor and empower a group of engineering managers and ~25 engineers across multiple domains.
* Build and evolve scalable, resilient internal platforms, integrations and subscription infrastructure.
* Partner with Product, Data, Finance and Commercial stakeholders to prioritise roadmap and shape long-term architecture.
* Champion engineering best practices - from documentation and observability to security and quality.
* Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative culture of clarity, ownership and innovation.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams in a scaling, product-led environment.
* Solid background in platform, commerce infrastructure, systems or internal tooling engineering.
* Strong systems-level thinking with the ability to balance long-term resilience and delivery speed.
* Excellent communication skills and a leadership approach rooted in trust, growth and cross-functional alignment.
* Bonus experience with subscription, billing or payment systems, and data integration frameworks.
If you’re energised by defining engineering foundations that unlock scalable revenue and operational excellence – and want to help build tech that empowers teams globally – we’d love to hear from you.
