Job Title: Lead Software Engineer

Location: Boston / Hybrid

Our client's goal is to make every experience on the web as perfect as possible. They're solving a huge challenge for product managers and developers - understanding the user experience. Their system is the first that gives these teams complete visibility into their customer's experience using their web apps - through pixel-perfect replays of user sessions and clear insight into logs, errors, and network activity.

Role:

This role will involve leading a core engineering team. You will be expected to work closely with other lead engineers to set a high standard for coding and development internally and with more junior team members to help them with their career progression and advancement. 

Responsibilities:

- Automate database scaling to improve operating costs while maintaining the ability to respond to traffic spikes.

- Build systems for automatically recommended integrations for customers.

- Mentor and support team members, helping them achieve their career objectives.

- Evaluate and integrate advanced technologies and tools.

- Design systems to automatically detect user paths

- Implement a search backend that allows users to search in real-time across billions of log entries

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience as a developer in a SaaS company.

- Experience working with modern cloud technologies.

- Experience with modern JavaScript Stack

- Experience building and redesigning highly available distributed systems.

- Experience in development environments with demanding scalability or availability requirements.
