Senior Java Developer - Contract 

Duration: 6 months +
Project Location: Orebro, Sweden

Start date: ASAP

Language requirements: English, Swedish

Our client requires a Senior Java Developer on a 6-month project based in Orebro Sweden. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for the server-side of our clients' web applications. 

As the Senior Java Engineer, you will also be responsible for leading a team of 2 junior developers (in Scrum). As the Senior Java Developer you will work closely with your team of engineers to ensure system consistency and improve UX across their applications. 

If you have a passion for writing code that will last and have exceptional knowledge of Java including both Spring and Kafka then we’d like to hear from you. 

Ultimately you should be able to develop and maintain both functional and stable web applications. An understanding of JavaScript across all frameworks is a massive plus and if you have an interest in PHP, Ruby, Python or any other languages alongside your excellent Java skills: even better! 

Requirements:

Mandatory:

• Deep Experience in Java

• Scrum experience

• Experience with Spring, Kafka, Kubernetes

• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)

• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude

• Excellent analytical and time management skills
