Job Title: Senior Machine Learning Engineering Manager

As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineering Manager to join the dynamic team in Chicago.

Role: 

You will report directly to the head of engineering and work closely with the leadership team to define and execute the vision and strategy around the development of cutting-edge machine learning algorithms.

Responsibilities:

* Manage the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle

* Evaluate and experiment with different machine learning algorithms and frameworks to optimize performance and accuracy.

* Mentor team members and contribute to the overall growth and success of the team by helping with  best practices, code quality, design patterns, testing, debugging, and documentation.

* Hire, onboard, and retain top talent for your team and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Qualifications:

* Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

* Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in machine learning engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

* Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, with expertise in machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

* Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, statistical analysis, and data preprocessing techniques.

* Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).

* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
