Staff Full Stack Engineer (TypeScript / Node / React)

Location: Remote, Germany · Comp: €105–120k base + 15% bonus + equity (ESOPs)

Our client is building the trust infrastructure for the next era of the internet; where proving who you are, owning your data, and sharing it securely become as fundamental as the web itself. Their platform lets people and organisations exchange verified information instantly and across borders without handing over control of their personal data, combining decentralised identity with highly scalable cloud systems. They're now extending that work to one of the hardest emerging problems online: trust between AI agents.

Founded and backed by one of Asia's largest investment groups, this is deep-tech with real enterprise customers, not a science project.

You'd join as a Staff Full Stack Engineer: hands-on, owning complex product surfaces end-to-end, and raising the technical bar across a globally distributed team. Stack is TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS, built as microservices.

What you'll do

- Own technically complex initiatives from design through deployment, with a high degree of autonomy

- Build full-stack capabilities across a multi-service platform, with reliability, maintainability, and security as first-class concerns

- Diagnose and fix performance, scalability, and reliability problems across frontend, backend, and infrastructure

- Shape technical direction alongside Product, UX, and platform stakeholders, and improve how the engineering team itself ships (tooling, developer experience)

- Set and defend engineering standards through code review, testing practices, and documentation

What we're looking for

- 8–10+ years building production full-stack applications in the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem

- Deep, hands-on React and Node.js in production-grade environments

- Designing and running microservices on cloud-native infrastructure, ideally AWS

- Startup or scale-up experience — you're comfortable with ambiguity, autonomy, and moving fast, not just large-enterprise process

- Strong grasp of scalable system design, distributed architecture patterns, REST API design, automated testing, and CI/CD
