We are looking for a Team Lead Backend Engineer (Javascript) to play a key role in shaping our clients fitness platform, powering workouts for thousands of users. You will lead a talented team, drive backend architecture, and work closely with the CTO and product teams in Berlin.

What You'll Be Working On:

- Architecting, designing, and operating microservices in Node.js & Typescript

- Leading and mentoring a high-performing engineering team

- Building scalable and event-driven backend systems

- Developing APIs and optimizing database performance (PostgreSQL)

- Driving DevOps culture with CI/CD & cloud-based solutions

- Improving deployment and release processes

What We're Looking For:

- Strong expertise in Node.js, Typescript, and distributed applications

- Experience leading and growing engineering teams

- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven systems, and API design

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and database schema design

- Passion for solving complex challenges in a startup environment

- Excellent communication skills in English
